Political grand strategy set in Spain, from the first free elections of 1977 to today.

Spain's Congress has 350 seats. Seat 176 is the absolute majority, and almost nobody gets there alone. Lead a party through elections, investitures, coalitions, scandals and crises, and see how far you can take it.

Two scenarios

1977 · The Transition. June 1977: the first free elections in four decades. The new Cortes must write a Constitution, and you decide what it says: monarchy or republic, unitary, autonomous or federal state, which electoral system, what role for the Church. Then govern, lose, come back, and survive the barracks… or end democracy yourself.

2027 · Spain today. A fragmented Congress where nobody reaches 176. Opposing blocs, nationalists who make and break governments, a rising nationalist right and a left reorganising itself. Form a government and survive the term.

What you do

  • Win elections. Run campaigns province by province with real D'Hondt seat allocation. Hold rallies, take part in TV debates and choose your list heads.
  • Negotiate investitures. Sit at the table with every group. Offer ministries, laws and investment, haggle over counteroffers and handle vetoes between rival partners. Every promise goes on record, and your voters remember broken ones.
  • Govern. Pass laws and decrees, set the budget and taxes, appoint a cabinet, and manage the economy, the unions, the courts, Europe and territorial tension.
  • Run your party. Build an organisation chart, recruit from your youth wing, and deal with factions, regional federations, ambitious barons, plots, secrets and money problems.
  • Fight from opposition. Losing power doesn't end the game. Table motions of no confidence, build alliances and win your way back at the ballot box.
  • Play in the regions. Contest regional and local elections, negotiate regional governments and govern autonomous communities.
  • Living politics. Parties moderate, radicalise, split, merge and disappear. Leaders age and retire, and new parties appear. Every game tells a different story.
  • Create your own party. Choose its name, colour, ideology and leader, and build it from nothing.

Details

  • Plays in the browser on desktop and mobile. Nothing to install.
  • Available in English and Spanish. Switch languages from the main menu.
  • Autosaves every month, with save slots and export/import codes to move your game between devices.
  • Optional tutorial.
